NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

Neuro Linguistic Programming encompasses the 3 most influential components involved in producing human experience: Neurology (how our bodies function), Language (how we interface and communicate with others) and Programming (the kinds of models of the world we create). It describes the fundamental dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behaviour (programming).

Put simply, NLP provides essential building blocks for discovering how people think and manage their emotional states. As an NLP practitioner and someone who has many years of experience, I look at NLP as a mental toolkit. I use these various NLP tools to help identify, understand and potentially change questions that have an unconscious nature, such as those relating to beliefs, knowing and doing. NLP tools can be used by all kinds of people in all kinds of different circumstances.

There are many techniques or tools (such as Eliminating Self Limiting Beliefs, Imagery, Reframing, Successful Anchoring, etc) I use and teach to my clients so that they see key benefits, such as:

  • Improving communication,
  • Changing behaviours, thinking and beliefs
  • Replicating excellence.

A few benefits of NLP working in different environments are:

  • Managing, coaching and motivating staff
  • Conflict/dispute resolution
  • Improved focus and concentration
  • Conquering nerves & negativity and improving confidence
  • Successful mental rehearsal
  • Setting and ACHIEVING goals
